Isolaz delivers effective acne treatments through vacuum and broadband light. The vacuum loosens dirt, blackheads, dead cells, and excess oil from deep within the pores. The broadband light helps destroy acne-causing bacteria, sloughing dead skin cells and oil away. The light also helps reduce facial redness. The length of the treatment depends on which area of the body is being treated; it can take 15-20 minutes for a facial treatment, but a back or chest treatment may take a bit longer. Four to six treatments are typically needed, but this number varies for each patient. More aggressive treatments may include microdermabrasion or chemical peel before or after. Blackheads and whiteheads not affected by Isolaz will be extracted manually by the aesthetician.
Isolaz can treat all skin types, light and dark, and can treat most types of acne, except cystic lesions. Patients usually see results after the first treatment, including visible improvement in the severity and redness of their acne. Immediately after the procedure, you may experience mild redness in the treatment area, but normal activities may be resumed. It is recommended to avoid prolonged sun exposure.
