MEET OUR EXPERTS

Daryn Carpenter Reynolds, LE

Director/Lead Licensed Esthetician

Daryn, our Lead Aesthetician, has over 15 years of experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic industry. She started as a professional makeup artist, working for companies such as M.A.C. and Anastasia Beverly Hills. This experience made her realize that it’s the canvas underneath the makeup that mattered most, which led to her true passion…skin. She soon enrolled at Rizzieri’s Aveda Skin Institute and began her career in the skincare world.

She enjoys pairing her aesthetic eye and her skincare background to provide her patients with a comprehensive treatment plan and an unforgettable experience. She has a special talent for analyzing the skin and enhancing her patients’ personal appearance using the latest and greatest technologies.

Daryn is certified on all of our laser treatments, Radio-Frequency Microneedling and also obtained her Master’s in Coolsculpting. She specializes in anti-aging treatments, body contouring and problematic skin conditions such as melasma, rosacea and sun damaged skin.

She continues to research and attend seminars and trainings to make sure she provides her clients here at Premier Spa & Laser Center with the most advanced treatments.

Mechelle Speelhoffer, LE

Licensed Aesthetician

Mechelle has been licensed in Cosmetology since the mid-80s. In 2006 she made the jump into Esthetics by taking her first esthetics position at a local salon. When Mechelle was in her 20s she suffered from acne that left her with deep acne scars. Thanks to lasers and proper skin care, she was able to get the acne under control. Mechelle states this literally changed her life and has made her very empathetic when working one on one with patients.

Although she started out with doing basic facials, waxing, massage and pedicures, it didn’t take long before she transitioned into the world of aesthetic lasers. She has worked in offices of Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and even ran her own Med Spa for 3 years. Mechelle says the most rewarding aspect of her position is that she is able to achieve real results for clients that help them to look better and feel better about themselves and their appearance.

Mechelle is so happy to have joined Premier Spa and Laser Center where she says she is working with the “team” she has always been searching for! In her spare time, she is a very artsy person, and is very involved in handmade Pottery and the art of Tie Dye. She also enjoys exploring Flea Markets for eclectic decorating items.

Donna Sacalis LE

Licensed Aesthetician

Donna is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician here at Premier Spa and Laser Center.  She has over 15 Years experience in the esthetic and medical field, which include working in plastics as a Medical Assistant and specializing in clinical treatments.

Donna Graduated from Rizzieri Aveda School in Voorhees, New Jersey, in 2010.  Since then, Donna has enjoyed building relationships as an Aesthetician with clients and truly enjoys helping others look and feel their best.  With her years of experience, she evaluates each individual to customize the best treatment for them.

When Donna is not at work she enjoys time with family and boating on the Chesapeake Bay

Sara Jaber Reese, RN

Clinical Manager/Lead Nurse Injector

Sara started her nursing career over 20 years ago. After graduating from the University of Delaware, she gained her initial experience in the stroke unit at Christiana Hospital. She then joined Premier in 2008 as nurse manager to our Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Paul Sabini. She worked closely with Dr. Sabini in all aspects of his practice. That experience allowed her to have a true understanding of the natural aging changes of the face and an excellent knowledge of surgery, reconstruction, and aesthetics. Under the initial guidance of Dr. Sabini, Sara developed and fine tuned her techniques in the art of facial injections. She was able to follow her true passion of aesthetics full time when our spa opened in 2017.

Sara’s aesthetic eye, soft touch, and nurturing demeanor are key factors in her ability to develop long-term relationships with her clients. Her background in both surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation provides the basis for her expert consultations and ability to set realistic expectations.

She continues to attend several injectable courses, trainings, and webinars throughout the year. Sara specializes in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, ultherapy, RF microneedling, and PRP injections. Her goal is always to enhance and restore the potential of our natural beauty.

Samantha Behnke, RN

Nurse Injector

Sammi graduated in 2019 from University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She spent over 6 years working as a Nurse Extern and Registered Nurse on a medical floor at Christiana Hospital. This experience allowed her love for caring for others to flourish while facing new challenges each day.

She was always interested in aesthetics and became certified in Botox and Fillers while still working at the bedside. She felt aesthetic nursing highlighted her passion to serve while also being able to help others feel more confident. The aesthetic field allows her to provide personalized care catered to each client and their specific concerns. Throughout her career at Premier, she has greatly enjoyed getting to know each of her patients, continued education trainings, and further developing her skillset in the world of anti-aging treatments.

Outside of work, Sammi enjoys both relaxation and socialization. She enjoys traveling with friends and family, trips to the beach, an afternoon with a good book and spending time at the gym. Shopping and exploring new restaurants or coffee shops are how Sammi enjoys spending her days off.

Laicee Logue

Spa Manager

Laicee is our Spa Manager at Premier Spa & Laser Center.

She joined Premier in 2013 as a receptionist in our general dermatology and cosmetic surgery offices where she gained expert knowledge of the practice. During her time at Premier, her interest in the aesthetics area grew. She has researched and tried most of the skin care products and services offered by the spa so she can educate clients when they have questions. Her drive, dedication, passion and customer service lead her to the position of an Aesthetic Coordinator in our new spa center and eventually Spa Manager.

Laicee enjoys summers at the Delaware beaches, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Kimberly Vergara

Aesthetic Coordinator

Kimi comes to Premier having worked over 8 years in the beauty industry, and is one of the lovely Aesthetic Coordinators you will first see as you enter Premier Spa and Laser Center. She loves everything about products and services that make her feel her best, and has a passion for self care. Kimi loves learning of the latest technologies and products in aesthetics, and is always striving to live a balanced, glowing life inside and out.  In her free time she loves spending time with her dog Harlow.

Trisha Tolino

Aesthetic Coordinator

Trisha is one of our wonderful front desk Aesthetic Coordinators.  She has over 10 years experience being a scheduling coordinator within the beauty industry. She will greet you with a warm smile and will be sure your entire visit is excellent from start to finish. She enjoys the connections she makes with each patient during their visit at the spa. When Trisha is not here she calls herself the Chaos coordinator, juggling a hectic schedule of dance mom and baseball mom life.  Trisha is happy to be part of such an amazing team of expert providers.  If you need anything she is certainly happy to help!

Office Policy

Thank you for choosing PREMIER SPA & LASER CENTER (PSLC) for your aesthetic needs.

Please be advised that our services are elective cosmetic procedures, the care provided at Premier Spa & Laser Center is not covered by any medical insurance programs and we do not participate in any such plans. Payment is required at the time of your treatment. For specially packaged treatments, payment for the entire package is due at the time of the first scheduled treatment. The health and safety of our patients is our first priority, therefore at this time we have had to update several of our policies in the Spa, see below:

Please read and sign our financial and etiquette policy below to verify your receipt and understanding of this information.

Effective 2021

1.        For the comfort of all our guests, please reduce or mute the volume on your cell phones, laptops, and pagers.

2.        Please refrain from inappropriate language or actions. If this does occur your aesthetic provider may terminate your service, without a refund.

3.        We provide a number of payment options which may be used individually or combined according to your desires.  Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard and Care Credit are accepted. (Returned checks are subject to a $30.00 service charge.)

4.        We value your business and understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid a cancellation fee.

5.        Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, our cancellation/no-show policy is listed as follows:

·         1st time no show – 50% of your service will be required in order to book your next appointment

·         2nd time no show – 100% of your service will be required in order to book your next appointment

Please understand that when you forget to cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and patients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

6.        Clients arriving ten minutes after their scheduled appointment time will be considered late for their appointment, and their appointment may be rescheduled as a result, allowing the provider to take their next scheduled appointment on time.

7.        All consults will now require a $50 deposit OR a credit card kept on file that will be charged in the event of a “no show” or last-minute cancellation.

8.        There will be a deposit required when booking your coolsculpting appointment. I understand that if a cancellation less than 48 hours occurs, the appointment is missed, or the treatment is not completed day of appointment 50% of the treatment will be charged to the card on file.

9.        All services will now require a deposit OR a credit card kept on file that will be charged in the event of a “no show” or last-minute cancellation. The deposit will be applied once services are rendered.  This deposit will be forfeited, if a cancellation less than 24 hours occurs or the appointment is missed.

10.     Skin care product purchases can be returned within 30 days of purchase, ONLY if they are unopened and unused. Latisse, Renova, Retin A and Hydroquinone products cannot be returned. A refund by Premier Spa & Laser Center may not be provided in the same form of initial payment(s). All refunds will be provided by a check in the mail within 2-3 weeks of receipt of return. If you do not wish a check refund a credit can be left on your account for future service(s) and/or purchase(s) within the spa.
